SEABROOK — The 29th Annual Keels & Wheels Concours d’Elegance wrapped up this Sunday at the Lakewood Yacht Club, concluding a stunning weekend that brought together over 200 rare and historic cars and boats—collectively valued at more than $50 million.

Billed as the largest classic car and antique boat show in the United States, the two-day event drew more than 2,000 attendees to the waterfront club, where meticulously restored vehicles and vintage wooden boats lined the docks and greens.

The event featured a wide range of vehicles, from early 20th-century roadsters to modern-day luxury and performance cars. On the water, handcrafted wooden boats were a particular highlight, showcasing a style of craftsmanship that has become increasingly rare due to the high cost and complexity of maintenance.

“This is one of the only places left where you can see this many wooden boats in one place,” said one attendee. “They’re pieces of floating history.”

Keels & Wheels is not just about the visuals. Each day culminated in an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding vehicles for their condition, historical significance, and presentation. Judges evaluated both the cars and boats in multiple categories, continuing a long tradition of honoring the finest examples of automotive and nautical excellence.

Fortunately, the weather held out both Saturday and Sunday, giving exhibitors and attendees the perfect backdrop for the outdoor event.

Much of the event’s success can be credited to the dedicated volunteers from the Lakewood Yacht Club, many of whom assisted with logistics, admissions, and hospitality throughout the weekend.

As the 29th annual show comes to a close, organizers say the event continues to grow in reputation and scale, with sights already set on an even bigger 30th anniversary in 2026.
