SANTA FE — A Santa Fe man is facing multiple felony theft charges after Galveston County investigators executed a search warrant that uncovered a trove of stolen property, including a truck, boat, trailer, motor, and four-wheeler.
According to press release, the search was carried out on June 6 at a residence in the 3400 block of Avenue L as part of a burglary investigation led by the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit. Assisting in the operation were members of the Gulf Coast Auto Crimes Task Force and Crime Scene Investigators.
Authorities say the property discovered on-site had been reported stolen.


The homeowner, 59-year-old Patrick Hardy, was arrested and charged with two counts of felony theft of property valued between $2,500 and $30,000. Each charge carries a bond of $50,000. Hardy also faces a misdemeanor theft charge for property valued between $750 and $2,500, with a bond set at $7,500.
Also at the scene was 56-year-old Tonya Spivey, who was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for possession of a dangerous drug.
The Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is ongoing and additional details will be released as they become available.
