BIRMINGHAM, UK Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne will officially reunite with the original members of Black Sabbath for one final performance this summer, in what’s being billed as the iconic band’s last-ever concert.

The farewell event, titled Back to the Beginning, is scheduled for July 5, 2025, at Villa Park in Birmingham—the band’s hometown and where it all started decades ago. According to multiple sources, including Rolling Stone and Blabbermouth.net, the event will feature an all-star lineup of metal and hard rock acts, with Osbourne joining Black Sabbath for a headline performance.

“I’ll do what I can, where I feel comfortable,” Osbourne said in a recent appearance on his SiriusXM show Ozzy Speaks, noting that he’s been undergoing “heavy training” in preparation for the performance. He also hinted that he may not sing the full set but will make an appearance that fans won’t forget.

The performance will mark Osbourne’s official retirement from live concerts following years of health complications. His return with guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward will be their first full reunion since 2005, and their first live performance together since concluding The End Tour in 2017 without Ward.

Global Audience Invited

For fans who can’t attend in person, the concert will be available via pay-per-view livestream, priced at $29.99. According to Blabbermouth.net, viewers will have access to the stream for 48 hours after the performance, giving fans across time zones a chance to witness the historic moment.

“We had such an overwhelming demand from fans across the world,” Sharon Osbourne said in a statement published by BlackSabbath.com. “We just couldn’t let them down.”
