LEAGUE CITY — League City’s White Linen Night is returning this Saturday, June 14, with an evening of local art, live music, and family-friendly activities.
The event runs from 4 to 8 p.m. in League City’s Historic District, centered around League Park at 512 2nd Street. Inspired by a New Orleans tradition of wearing white to stay cool in the summer, the event encourages guests to dress in white and enjoy a variety of activities under the trees.
“White Linen Night is one of League City’s most anticipated cultural events,” said event organizer Ashley Jackson. “It showcases our vibrant arts community while drawing thousands to our Historic District.”
The event will include nearly 100 booths featuring original artwork, handmade crafts, and live demonstrations. Visitors can also see vintage cars from the 1930s and 1940s, along with a selection of Houston Art Cars.
Live music and performances will take place at League Park, Butler’s Courtyard, the League City Historical Society Museum, and other nearby spots. A children’s area at League Park will feature arts and crafts and other activities for families.
Food trucks and local restaurants will offer a range of food and drinks, including frozen treats and adult beverages.
This year’s event is sponsored by Peregrine Energy as the Premier Sponsor and AMOCO Federal Credit Union as the Platinum Sponsor.
Admission is free and open to all ages. Parking is available at League City Elementary (520 E. Walker Street), with shuttle service running from City Hall (300 W. Walker Street) and ACU of Texas (1905 W. League City Parkway).
