LEAGUE CITY – The streets of historic League Park came alive Saturday evening as the city hosted its 4th annual White Linen Night, a free community celebration inspired by the New Orleans tradition of wearing white to beat the summer heat.
Kicking off at 6 p.m., the event spanned three blocks and drew families, artists, and vendors from across the area. Known for its creative flair, White Linen Night highlighted local art, artisan products, food trucks, and live music, offering something for attendees of all ages.
“There are even art projects kids can do, so it’s an event catered to League City and nearby families with children too,” Ashley Jackson, the Community Coordinator for League City said to KGTX 7.
While the main attraction was the local art scene—complete with artists displaying and selling their work—guests also enjoyed hands-on activities, craft vendors, and a lively atmosphere filled with music and community spirit.
The evening continued late into the night as residents embraced the white-themed dress code, echoing the event’s Southern roots and celebrating art and culture under the Texas sky.
