LA MARQUE — A 29-year-old La Marque man was arrested Tuesday by the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office on multiple outstanding felony warrants, including charges related to crimes against a child, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
Camron Dewayne Hollenshead was taken into custody without incident on June 24 in the 400 block of Volney Street by members of the department’s Fugitive Apprehension Division.
According to the release, Hollenshead had four outstanding felony warrants at the time of his arrest. Among the charges listed were:
- Injury to a Child/Elderly/Disabled
- Indecency with a Child.
The sheriff’s office stated that the arrest shows Sheriff Jimmy Fullen’s ongoing focus on a proactive policing model and removing dangerous individuals from the streets of Galveston County.
No further details were released as of press time.
