LA MARQUE — A former La Marque employee wanted on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges was taken into custody over the weekend, according to a press release from the La Marque Police Department.
Joshua Blaine Pritchett, 36, was located and arrested on Saturday, July 19, in the Dallas area following a joint operation involving the La Marque Police Department, the La Marque Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Division.
Authorities had been searching for Pritchett in connection with several outstanding warrants. Charges against him include:
- First-degree felony arson
- Third-degree felony tampering with physical evidence
- Two counts of Class B misdemeanor fraud
- Class B misdemeanor false report to a peace officer
Pritchett is expected to be transported to the Galveston County Jail, where he will be held on a $90,000 bond.
