SANTA FE – The Santa Fe Lions Club will mark its 65th anniversary with a special celebration on Saturday, August 16th. The event, including a ribbon cutting ceremony by the chamber will take place at 13304 Highway 6, beginning at 10 a.m.
Mayor Brandon Noto will deliver a welcome address and opening prayer, setting the tone for the day’s festivities.
A highlight of the celebration will be the attendance of Representative Greg Bonnen, who is scheduled to present a proclamation honoring the Lions Club for its 65 years of dedicated community service.
The guest speaker for the event will be Ernesto “TJ” Tijerina, Past International President of Lions Clubs International, joining from San Antonio, Texas.
The event is open to the public, so all are welcomed to attend.
