LEAGUE CITY – A League City man is behind bars after authorities say he attempted to solicit a minor online, following a months-long investigation by the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office and the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, according to a Galveston County Sheriff’s Office press release.
Investigators began looking into 34-year-old Justin Corley in April 2025 after receiving a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
On June 16, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Corley’s apartment at Harbor Walk Apartments in League City, seizing a cell phone and computer that reportedly contained evidence of online solicitation of a minor.

An arrest warrant was issued on August 14, charging Corley with Sexual Performance of a Child (Produce/Direct/Promote) and setting bond at $100,000. Corley was arrested without incident in Houston by the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Division.
The sheriff’s office credited the case to extensive coordination with local and federal partners, including Homeland Security Investigations – Galveston, Pearland Police Department, La Marque Police Department, and Texas City Police Department.
Assistance was also provided by the Crime Scene Unit, Socorro Police Department, and El Paso ISD Police Department.
