TEXAS CITY – A 20-year-old Texas City man was arrested Tuesday, after investigators say they found child pornography during a search of his apartment, according to a Galveston County Sheriff’s press release.

The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit, working with the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, executed a search warrant at the Windsor Estates Apartments on FM 2004. Detectives seized a cell phone and narcotics from the residence.

Authorities say the investigation began in July after the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) provided a cyber-tip to Detective A. Espinosa, who serves with the ICAC Task Force.
