The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Galveston County Citizen Sheriff’s Academy Alumni Association and local law enforcement agencies, will host its annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, October 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bayshore Park Pavilion, 5437 FM 646 in Bacliff.

The event is intended to strengthen community engagement, enhance relationships between residents and law enforcement, and provide information on crime prevention.

Activities include a foam party, bounce houses, a deputy and officer dunking booth, and giveaways from the GCSO recruiting team. Free hotdogs and popcorn will also be available.

Residents are encouraged to attend with family and friends to participate in the planned activities and to connect with local law enforcement representatives.
