HOUSTON — The Friendswood Mustangs made it two straight over Fort Bend Willowridge, rolling to a decisive 55-7 victory Friday night.
Friendswood wasted no time putting the game out of reach, piling up 48 points by halftime while holding the Eagles to a lone touchdown. The Mustangs’ offense kept the pressure on through all four quarters, while the defense stifled any comeback attempt.
The win evens Friendswood’s record at 1-1 on the season. Fort Bend Willowridge dropped to 0-2 with its second consecutive loss.
Both teams will hit the road next week. Friendswood travels to face Ball on Friday at 7 p.m., while Willowridge heads to Terry for a Thursday matchup at 6 p.m.
