LEAGUE CITY – Police say two suspects are in custody after warrant operations tied to an ongoing investigation, Thursday afternoon.

On Sept. 5, detectives with the League City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) arrested Luis Leal Jr., 17, of League City, and Randy Rojas Jr., 21, of Texas City.

Leal is charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and is being held without bond. Police noted he was already out on bond for six counts of aggravated robbery. Rojas faces the same charge, with bond set at $10,000.

Detectives executed warrants at two locations: the 1500 block of Maria Street in League City and the 3100 block of Lone Trail Drive in Texas City. Leal and Rojas were taken into custody without incident.

The investigation remains active, and additional charges are possible, police said. The department thanked various agencies for their assistance.
