SANTA FE – Emergency crews responded early Sunday morning after a car crash near the Shell gas station across from the Santa Fe Police Department on FM 646.

The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. in a construction zone. One male occupant was found unconscious at the scene. Medic 2 arrived to provide care and transport the individual to a local hospital.

Details about the cause of the crash or the driver’s condition have not been released. Authorities are investigating.
