The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office says 35 people were taken into custody during a recent misdemeanor warrant round-up on Tuesday.

Deputies with the Fugitive Apprehension Division made the arrests on a mix of misdemeanor and felony charges. The sheriff’s office said the operation was part of its ongoing push to hold people accountable and keep the county safe.

Officials added they’ll continue to track down people with outstanding warrants.
