LEAGUE CITY — A motorcyclist was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after colliding with a vehicle that failed to yield while making a turn on East 96, according to police.
The crash happened shortly after 4 p.m. near Evergreen Memorial Parkway. Police said the vehicle was traveling eastbound on East 96 in a left-turn lane when the driver attempted to turn onto Evergreen. The vehicle turned in front of a westbound motorcycle, causing the collision.
Officer Jose Ortega told KGTX 7 that the motorcyclist was conscious, alert and breathing at the scene but in significant pain. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No additional details about the driver or possible charges have been released.
