LEAGUE CITY — A League City restaurant is drawing customers with homemade dishes, affordable catering, and community-focused discounts. Adriatic Cafe on FM 646, is currently at a 4.7/5.00 star rating, just two months into opening.
“I’m used to working in the restaurant industry.” said owner Dominic Alagna. “My mom was a waitress, and there weren’t many options for childcare, so she brought me to work, where most of my babysitters were bartenders.” he added.
Among the most popular items is the Alfredo, served with the restaurant’s homemade bread. Owners say the creamy pasta paired with fresh bread is a favorite with regulars. The restaurant also makes all of its pizza dough in-house.
“We love when guests give us feedback or suggest new ideas,” Anisa Alagna said. “More often than not, we’re able to accommodate it.”
For those dining at home, the restaurant offers delivery through DoorDash, Grubhub, and Uber Eats, with dinner hours bringing in the highest number of online orders. Catering is also available, with owners emphasizing large portions and competitive pricing.
To give back to the community, the restaurant offers discounts for seniors, veterans, and first responders. On Tuesdays, senior citizens receive 20 percent off their bill, while veterans and first responders can receive the same discount any day of the week.
The business is proudly veteran-owned and operated. “We strive to help the community in any way that we can,” Alagna said.
