LEAGUE CITY – The League City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating the driver of a truck believed to have witnessed a hit-and-run crash earlier this month.

The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. on September 16, 2025, in the 3300 block of W. Main. While investigators say the truck was not involved in the accident, they believe the driver may have seen important details following the crash, including interactions with the driver of the vehicle that fled the scene.

Police stressed that the driver is not in trouble but could provide valuable information to help move the investigation forward.

Anyone who recognizes the vehicle or knows the driver’s identity is asked to contact Detective Thomas at 281-554-1884.
