LEAGUE CITY — Families are invited to celebrate the fall season at League City’s annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at League Park, 512 2nd Street.
According to the city, this year’s festival will feature artisan and craft vendors, food trucks, hayrides, oversized lawn games, and pumpkin decorating. Visitors can also get a head start on holiday shopping while enjoying seasonal activities.
The League City Historical Society will once again host the “Punkin Parade,” a tradition for children in fall attire or Halloween costumes. Children are encouraged to decorate bikes, wagons, or scooters. Lineup begins at 10 a.m. at the One Room Schoolhouse, 210 N. Kansas Avenue. The parade route will move toward Butler’s Courtyard for costume judging before continuing to League Park.
A costume contest for all ages will take place at noon. Participants must register at the staff table before the event. Contest categories include ages 4 and under, 5–12, 13–17, and 18 and older.
The Harvest Festival is free to attend and open to the public.
