Spirit Christmas, the holiday-season sibling of Spirit Halloween, is tripling its store count this year, expanding from eight to 30 locations. But while none of those stores are planned for our state in 2025, our residents won’t be fully left out of the holiday spirit.
Mary Griswold, a spokeswoman for Spirit Christmas, told KGTX 7 the company’s new seasonal business model allows it to test markets carefully each year. Most of this year’s expansion will focus on the Northeast and Great Lakes regions.
“We remain committed to delivering an immersive holiday shopping experience and are excited to spread even more holiday cheer this season,” Griswold said in an email.
For local shoppers, the company is offering a limited online storefront at SpiritChristmas.com. It’s a newer concept compared to Spirit Halloween’s traditional in-person pop-ups, and one the company says will make holiday items more widely accessible.
Company representatives did not rule out the possibility of more physical stores in the future if the expansion proves successful.
