CRYSTAL BEACH — Deputies with the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Division arrested a man Friday morning on multiple child sex offense warrants.

Christopher Stephen Reviere, 47, of Sour Lake, Texas, was taken into custody at approximately 6:05 a.m. at 946 Noble Carl Road in Crystal Beach.

Reviere faced two counts of sexual assault of a child under 17 and one count of indecency with a child, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The charges stem from an investigation conducted by the Sour Lake Police Department, which requested assistance from Galveston County deputies in locating and apprehending the suspect.

The Sheriff’s Office said Reviere was taken into custody safely and without incident.

Sheriff Jimmy Fullen praised the collaboration between local, state, and federal agencies. “Our continued cooperation ensures that individuals wanted for serious offenses such as these are brought to justice and our communities are kept safe,” he said.
