Task Force Executes Narcotics Search Warrant in Texas City

TEXAS CITY – The Galveston County Organized Crime Task Force carried out a narcotics search warrant Tuesday morning in the 100 block of 20th Avenue North in Texas City after a three-month investigation.

Officers searched the home of 33-year-old Cory Devine, who was suspected of selling drugs. During the search, investigators found:

  • 285 grams of cocaine
  • 13,083 grams of THC products
  • 507 grams of Xanax
  • 15 pounds of marijuana
  • $10,852 in cash

Devine was arrested and charged with:

  • Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 (>200g <400g)
  • Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 3 (>400g)
  • Possession of Marijuana (>5 lbs ≤50 lbs)

His total bond was set at $750,000. The case is still under investigation.
