LA MARQUE — The La Marque Public Library is inviting local businesses, organizations, and residents to take part in its annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Thursday, October 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

According to the City of La Marque, the event will be held in the library’s parking lot and aims to bring the community together for a safe and family-friendly Halloween celebration.

Businesses and organizations are encouraged to host decorated trunks to hand out candy and promote their services. Those interested in participating can call the library at 409-938-9270 to sign up.

For residents who are unable to host a trunk, sealed bags of candy can be donated at City Hall or the library during regular business hours.

City officials said the event is designed to offer families a fun and festive way to celebrate the Halloween season while engaging with the community.
