GALVESTON – Police are investigating the shooting death of a man discovered inside a vehicle Saturday evening in Galveston, according to KPRC 2.

Authorities say the incident occurred just before 7 p.m. near the intersection of Avenue N 1/2 and 18th Street. Officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots in the area and found a man in his late 20s inside a car. Emergency personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.

As of Sunday, no suspects were in custody, and police have not released a description of anyone involved. The investigation is ongoing.
