DICKINSON — The Career and Technical Association of Texas has recognized Dickinson Independent School District as a CTE District of Distinction, an honor given to districts that demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment to student success through their Career and Technical Education programs.

The CTE District of Distinction program highlights school districts that excel in preparing students for the workforce and advancing innovation in CTE instruction. Districts selected for this recognition are noted for their strong community and industry partnerships and for serving as models of excellence across the state.

According to CTAT, honorees are chosen based on criteria such as innovative programming, industry-based certifications, alignment with high-demand career pathways, and evidence of student achievement.

Earning the designation places Dickinson ISD among a select group of districts leading in workforce development and career readiness efforts across Texas.
