DICKINSON — A 67-year-old man was found dead inside a home Wednesday afternoon, and authorities have launched a homicide investigation, according to the Dickinson Police Department.

Police said they received a 911 call around 12:56 p.m. on November 5 regarding a possible death at a residence in the 1700 block of East FM 517 in Dickinson. When officers arrived, they found the man deceased inside the home.

The department’s Criminal Investigation Division responded to the scene, and the Galveston County Crime Scene Unit assisted with the investigation.

Medical examiner on Thursday stated that the victim was stabbed multiple times.

Police said the case remains active, and additional details will be released at a later time.
