League City will honor military veterans and their families during the city’s annual Veterans Day ceremony and luncheon on Tuesday, November 11, at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center.

According to the city, the ceremony will begin at 11 a.m., with doors opening early for a patriotic performance by the League City Concert Band.

Mayor Nick Long and local veteran Brent Faust—who works with the Operation Red Wings Foundation, a nonprofit that supports veterans facing post-traumatic stress, brain injuries, and chronic pain—will deliver remarks during the event.

Following the ceremony, guests are invited to attend a complimentary BBQ lunch provided by the Smokin Revolver BBQ Cook Team, with sponsorship from AMOCO Federal Credit Union and UTMB Health. Lunch will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
