GALVESTON COUNTY — Law enforcement agencies in Southeast Texas arrested 20 people during a two-day operation targeting prostitution and controlled substance offenses, the Texas Department of Public Safety said.
The operation, conducted in conjunction with the Lone Star Rally, involved the Texas DPS Southeast Texas Criminal Investigative Division, with assistance from the Baytown Police Department, Missouri City Police Department, and Texas Highway Patrol.



Authorities arrested 19 individuals on charges of solicitation of prostitution and one person for possession of a controlled substance.
DPS said the proactive enforcement effort is intended to deter criminal activity, protect victims, and maintain public safety in the community.
