BACLIFF – Texas City officials say Sunday’s large structure fire has been fully extinguished, though small areas of the damaged structures continue to smolder. Fire crews remain on scene to monitor and eliminate any remaining hotspots.

In a statement, the City of Texas City thanked the surrounding agencies that assisted during the incident, noting that their coordination and professionalism helped keep the response safe and efficient. Officials said operations ran smoothly despite the size of the fire, and credited the cooperation of all responding departments for the successful outcome.

No injuries were reported among firefighters.

The city expressed appreciation to all personnel who worked the incident, acknowledging the time, resources, and expertise provided to protect the community.
