Fire Breaks Out at Dickinson Auto Service Shop Early Wednesday

DICKINSON — Fire crews responded to a commercial fire at an auto service shop at the northwest corner of 26th Street and Highway 3 in Dickinson early Wednesday morning.

The fire was reported around 4:30 a.m. and took several hours to bring under control. Mutual aid was provided by fire departments from League City and Santa Fe.

No injuries were reported, and there were no nearby structures. The Dickinson Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.

Assistant Chief Jeff Billiott confirmed that crews were able to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading.
