Dickinson Man Fatally Stabbed on Thanksgiving; Suspect Arrested

DICKINSON – Thanksgiving night in Dickinson turned deadly after a man was fatally stabbed during an argument, according to Dickinson police.

Detective Vasquez told KGTX 7 the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of Victoria Avenue. A 40-year-old man was taken to a hospital after being stabbed and later died from his injuries.

Investigators said the confrontation began as a verbal argument between the victim and a family friend, then escalated into a physical fight. While the suspect, 31-year-old Kyle Wilson wasn’t found at the scene, he was taken into custody early Friday morning.

Wilson is charged with murder. His bond is set at $250,000.

More details will be released as the investigation continues.
