Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation at League City Kroger

LEAGUE CITY — Kroger on League City Pwky @ Hobbs Road was evacuated Saturday afternoon, after an anonymous bomb threat was called in demanding $10,000 in cash, according to Officer Trevor Montero of LCPD.

The threat came in around 2:00 p.m. Montero told KGTX 7 that detectives are reviewing store surveillance footage and working to identify the source of the call.

No injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing. Montero said the PD is holding off on making an official press release, as they wait for further details.
