FRIENDSWOOD — Two suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with the November 24 burglary of an O’Reilly Auto Parts store on FM 528.

Investigators say the break-in happened between 3 and 4 a.m., when the suspects forced open a secured door and stole three generators from the business. Surveillance footage later showed a blue hatchback entering the parking lot with its headlights off at 3:11 a.m., matching the timeframe of the burglary. Detectives identified the vehicle as a blue Nissan and obtained the license plate.

On November 26, Pearland Police stopped the vehicle just after 12:45 a.m. The driver, Jesse Davis Mosley, and passenger, Nelvin Trenele Jones, were taken into custody after officers found ski masks, gloves, and a crowbar inside the car. Both men were charged in Brazoria County with Unlawful Use of a Criminal Instrument — Possession with Intent to Use.

During interviews, detectives determined Jones — recently released from prison — used the crowbar to break into the store and stole the generators while Mosley acted as a lookout. The case was later presented to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, which accepted additional charges of Burglary of a Building against both suspects. Those warrants were served while they remained in the Brazoria County Jail.
