GALVESTON — The Galveston Municipal Police Association’s Christmas Holiday Parade is returning to downtown Galveston on Saturday, December 13th. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. Organizers say it’s a chance for the community to come together and celebrate the season.

The parade will begin at 25th Street and Postoffice, travel east to 19th Street, go north to the Strand, then head west and finish at 25th and Strand. Rolling road closures will be in place along the route.
Line-up starts at 5 p.m. on Postoffice between 25th and 26th, and on 26th Street between Postoffice and Winnie.
After the parade, people are encouraged to visit the businesses downtown for holiday shopping and dining.
