League City House Fire Quickly Contained, No Injuries Reported

LEAGUE CITY – A house fire broke out Friday night in a League City neighborhood, prompting a multi-agency response but resulting in no injuries or loss of life.

League City Fire Department crews were dispatched around 8:43 p.m. to the 300 block of Woodvale Drive. According to LCFD Assistant Chief Shawn Keesler, the fire originated in the garage and extended into the attic of the home.

Firefighters were able to contain and extinguish the blaze quickly. Crews from Friendswood, Forest Bend, and Webster assisted League City Fire Department in the response.

No residents or firefighters were injured during the incident, and all occupants were safely accounted for.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the League City Fire Department.
