LEAGUE CITY — Clear Creek ISD has been recognized as one of only 84 school districts in Texas to earn the 2025 Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll District distinction, the district announced.
In addition to the districtwide honor, seven CCISD campuses were named 2025 Honor Roll Schools: Clear Lake City Elementary, Landolt Elementary, Ross Elementary, Weber Elementary, Brookside Intermediate, League City Intermediate and Clear Horizons Early College High School.
The Honor Roll, now in its 11th year, highlights public schools and districts that outperform their peers in closing achievement gaps, particularly among higher-poverty and historically disadvantaged student populations.
“Clear Creek ISD is proud to have our district and schools named within the top 15 percent in Texas,” Superintendent Dr. Karen Engle said in a statement. “This recognition speaks to the consistent work happening across our schools, as well as the collective efforts of our teachers, staff, students and families to support academic growth for all learners.”
Statewide, 1,076 schools and 84 districts made this year’s Honor Roll. Schools are selected based on sustained student achievement across all student groups and demonstrated academic growth over time, according to Educational Results Partnership.
“Across Texas, there are schools and systems delivering strong results for students of all backgrounds,” said Alex Barrios, president and CEO of Educational Results Partnership. “The Honor Roll recognizes these schools because they are doing something essential—preparing students with durable, foundational skills that remain valuable in any economy, particularly as artificial intelligence continues to transform the nature of work.”
The 2025 Texas Honor Roll is supported by the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence and co-presented with the Texas Business Leadership Council. Organizers say it is the only award developed in collaboration with state and local business leaders and is intended to highlight best practices that drive student success.
