TEXAS CITY — The Galveston County Organized Crime Task Force executed two narcotics search warrants February 5 at residences in the 2600 block of 21st Street North and the 300 block of 9th Street North following a long-term narcotics trafficking investigation.
The task force was assisted by the Galveston County Constable’s Office Precinct 1 during the operation.
During the searches, investigators recovered 405 grams of cocaine, 365 grams of PCP, 2.5 gallons of promethazine, 5.7 pounds of marijuana, 5.2 grams of THC wax, U.S. currency and five firearms, including one confirmed stolen.
Based on the investigation and evidence recovered, the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office accepted charges against two individuals.

Keonda Bell, 26, is in custody and faces two counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, 400 grams or more, with bonds set at $500,000 each. Bell is also charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Dangerous Drug, with a $250,000 bond, and Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair, with a $250,000 bond.

Deatrick Black, 45, has an active warrant and faces charges of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 2, 4 grams or more but less than 400 grams, with a $250,000 bond, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, with a $250,000 bond.
