LEAGUE CITY – The City of League City is now accepting applications for its annual White Linen Night art crawl, scheduled for June 13.

Held the second Saturday in June, the event is part of the City’s Public Art Initiative and features more than 100 artist tents, along with musical performances throughout League Park and the surrounding Historic District. This marks the fifth year of the event, which has grown annually and attracts thousands of residents and visitors.

Councilman John Baumgartner noted that although the community is still in the winter season, preparations are underway for one of the City’s most popular summer events.

Amateur and professional artists interested in participating may apply online. A nominal booth fee of $25 to $35 will be charged, depending on whether the space is located in League Park or along the streets of the Historic District. Artist applications are due May 10.

Performing artists are also needed to provide live music throughout the Historic District. Musician applications are due May 3.

Organizers are also seeking more than 100 volunteers to assist with event setup and cleanup, artist check-in, and cooling stations. Community members are encouraged to sign up to volunteer through the City’s website.
