TEXAS CITY — Jazz fans have a chance to catch Kyle Turner live this weekend at Texas City’s 6th Street Community Plaza. Turner, a seasoned musician who has toured with Luther Vandross and held residencies at top clubs on “the other 6th Street,” will perform Saturday, Feb. 21, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Turner’s soulful sound has been featured worldwide, both on radio and across his six albums. In addition to performing with jazz legends, he hosts a daily radio show.

The 6th Street Community Plaza, which opened last fall, offers a stage for live performances alongside a food truck park, playground, dog park, and splash pad. Admission to the concert is free.

This performance is part of the Plaza’s monthly concert series. Future shows will include a Taylor Swift tribute band in March, a Beatles tribute band in April, and a Selena tribute band in May.
