TEXAS CITY — A 19-year-old Texas City man was arrested Wednesday, after authorities executed a search warrant tied to a child pornography investigation.

The Texas City Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team served the warrant at a residence in the 1400 block of 28th Avenue North. The warrant followed a completed investigation by the department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

The investigation began after several cybertips were received from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Authorities identified Anthony Noteboom, 19, of Texas City, as a suspect.

Noteboom was taken into custody through coordinated efforts involving an ICAC Task Force investigator, Homeland Security Investigations (Galveston), the Pearland Police Department, and the La Porte Police Department.

He is charged with Possession of Child Pornography – Sexual Conduct/Assault, a first-degree felony. Bond has been set at $200,000.

Police officials expressed appreciation to the assisting agencies and to the community, stating the department remains committed to protecting children and bringing offenders to justice.
