HIGH ISLAND – Firefighters battled a structure fire early Sunday morning, in the Crystal Beach/Port Bolivar area, while Bolivar VFD crews came to assist.
It happened around 4:30am, at the Diamond Road RV Park. Crews arrived to find two travel trailers fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters worked to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures within the RV park.
All occupants were able to evacuate safely, and no injuries were reported. The fire was extinguished at the scene.
It was not immediately clear what caused the fire. The incident remains under investigation.
