Driver detained after road rage incident in League City

LEAGUE CITY – Police detained a driver Thursday morning, following a reported road rage incident in the 900 block of East Main Street, according to Officer Trevor Montero.

The call came in around 10:30 a.m., after a driver reported that another motorist had pointed a firearm at them during the confrontation.

Officers located the suspect vehicle, described as a dark-colored SUV, and conducted a stop in the area. The driver was taken into custody without incident. No injuries were reported.

Video first shared by Grizzy’s Hood News showed multiple officers with their weapons drawn as they approached the vehicle during the stop.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the suspect. The investigation remains ongoing.
