LEAGUE CITY – The annual Earth Day Tree Giveaway is returning this coming Wednesday, April 22, at the Communications Building at 600 W. Walker Street. The event is exclusive for League City Residents.
The event begins at 8:00am and will last until all trees are gone. 300 trees will be available for pick up, on a first come, first serve basis; the city will not reserve or take orders. There will also be a limit of one tree per home.
Some of the trees available will include:
- Southern Magnolia
- Nuttall Oak
- Eastern Redbud
- Wax Myrtle
All trees will come in a three gallon container and range between three to six feet. The city would also like to thank Trees for Houston for this donation.
