As Election Day approaches, I want to share who I am, where I come from, and why I am running to represent District B in La Marque.

About Me

My name is Sade Williams. I have proudly called La Marque home for the past five years. This city is where I live, where I serve, and where I am raising my family. My father is from La Marque and was born and raised here. That foundation means something to me. This is more than a place on a map. This is personal.

Community Service

I serve as a member of the La Marque Planning and Zoning Committee. I am a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children. I also volunteer with the Galveston County Food Bank Adopt A Senior program. These experiences have placed me directly in the lives of families, seniors, and youth. I do not just hear concerns. I see them up close.

Professional Experience

I bring over 10 years of experience in oil and gas, pipeline operations, GIS analysis, and mechanical design engineering. I currently work in agricultural operations supporting farmers and strengthening food systems. My career has been built on leadership, accountability, and making real time decisions that matter.

Why I Am Running

I am not running just to run. I am running because our city deserves leadership that shows up and follows through. After speaking with residents across La Marque, the message is clear. People are tired of being unheard. People want results.

Community Priorities

Residents have been very clear about what needs attention. My focus is on practical improvements that people can actually see in their daily lives.

Lowering water rates is a priority. Families should not feel overwhelmed by basic utilities.

Cleaning up trash and debris at the entrances of our neighborhoods matters. First impressions matter and so does pride in where we live.

Street signs must be clear and maintained so residents and visitors can safely navigate our city.

Street lights must be working. Safety is not optional.

These are not complicated issues. They require attention, consistency, and leadership that cares enough to act.

Unity and Vision

La Marque is strong, but we are stronger when we move together. I believe in unity, peace, and respect across every part of our community. Progress happens when people feel heard, valued, and included.

Voter Awareness

Local elections impact thousands of lives, yet too many people do not participate. That has to change. When more people are informed and involved, our city becomes stronger and more accountable. I am running to serve, to listen, and to deliver real results for the people of La Marque.
