LEAGUE CITY — On May 14th, Clear Creek ISD officially named H-E-B as its 2026 Community Partner of the Year during the district’s annual Volunteer and Partnership Breakfast.
The event honored the local businesses, civic organizations, and individual volunteers who support CCISD’s footprint of more than 38,000 students.
During the presentation, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Karen Engle highlighted several key community contributions from the past school year, including a joint effort by Clear Creek Community Church and Bay Area Church.
Through their “Blessing the Bay Area” and “Hope Initiative” programs, the two churches mobilized more than 500 volunteers to handle campus beautification and improvement projects across 31 different CCISD campuses.
The district also used the event to recognize individual campus Volunteers of the Year, selected by their respective schools for exceptional service throughout the academic year, as well as contributions from the Clear Creek Education Foundation, local PTAs, and the CCISD Interfaith Collaborative.
