Dry And Quiet Week Ahead

Dominic Dragon Avatar

Key Takeaways

  • Cool and dry conditions to start the week after a pleasant weekend
  • Temperatures will slowly climb slowly through the workweek, reaching the low to mid 80s by Thursday
  • Rain chances are near zero all week and humidity will stay well below normal

The Week Ahead

A dry and mostly sunny week is in store due to high pressure and easterly flow in place through the workweek. Highs in the low 80s to start the week will slightly climb into the mid 80s by Thursday. Despite the slight warming , dew points stay at or below 65 all week, keeping conditions quite comfortable and humidity below normal compared to what Southeast Texas is used to this time of year.

Rain chances are very minimal throughout the week as Gulf moisture gets pushed to our west. On Tuesday there may be a shower or two as a surface trough develops along the coast, but if there is any rain it will mostly stay over the coastal waters. Overall, expect a comfortable, sunny, and dry week.

Have a great week everyone!
