SAN LEON – A San Leon man has been arrested in connection with an aggravated sexual assault of a child investigation that began late last year.
The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office said Anthony Miller, 30, was taken into custody on January 28 by the department’s Fugitive Apprehension Division at his residence.
The investigation started in November 2025 and was led by the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit, working alongside the Galveston County Child Advocacy Center. Officials said interviews were conducted and the case was reviewed by the Galveston County Multi-Disciplinary Team.
Based on the findings, the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office approved an arrest warrant for Miller on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child. His bond was set at $250,000.
Miller is currently being held in the Galveston County Jail.
