La Marque man arrested after drugs, firearm found during warrant service

LA MARQUE – A La Marque man was arrested Friday after police executed a search and arrest warrant that uncovered large quantities of narcotics and a firearm, authorities said.

According to the La Marque Police Department, members of the Crime Suppression Unit and Special Response Team served the warrant in the 2300 block of Rosalee.

Officers located the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Dominique Jack, inside the residence.

During a search of the home, investigators reported finding approximately 70 grams of crack cocaine, 850 grams of PCP, a small amount of methamphetamine and a pistol.

Jack was charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and tampering with evidence.

Authorities said his total bond was set at $750,000.

Police also noted that Jack was on parole for a prior narcotics violation and is not scheduled to complete parole until 2027.
