STUART, FL – Two suspects connected to a multi-state retail theft operation, including one wanted in Texas, were arrested in Florida, authorities said.
According to the Stuart Police Department, Isabel Ramos and Oleiber Rosabal were taken into custody after being linked to multiple thefts at Ulta Beauty stores throughout Florida’s Treasure Coast. The suspects were apprehended at an Ulta location in Stuart.
Ramos had an outstanding felony warrant issued in Galveston County for organized retail theft, stemming from an investigation by the League City Police Department’s Business District Unit. That investigation involved multiple thefts at the League City Ulta and other Ulta stores in the region.
League City police said their investigation identified more than 59 theft incidents involving Ramos and accomplices, with stolen merchandise totaling more than $68,000. Felony charges were submitted to the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office, and warrants were issued.
BDU officers worked closely with Ulta Organized Retail Crime managers and coordinated with authorities in Florida to track and apprehend the suspects. League City police emphasized that the department remains committed to protecting local businesses and prosecuting organized retail crime.
