LEAGUE CITY — The Clear Creek ISD Athletic Hall of Honor has announced its Class of 2026 inductees, recognizing former coaches, athletes and teams from across the district’s six high schools.

The induction ceremony is scheduled for Sept. 19 at the CCISD Challenger Columbia Stadium Fieldhouse. This year’s event also marks the 10th anniversary of the Athletic Hall of Honor, which was established to celebrate the district’s athletic history and achievements.

The Class of 2026 includes two former coaches, seven student-athletes and three teams representing Webster, Clear Creek, Clear Lake, Clear Brook, Clear Springs and Clear Falls high schools.

Coach honorees include former Clear Lake High School swim and dive coach Thomas Landgraf, who led the program from 1985 to 2003, and former Clear Lake golf coach Karolyn Criado, who coached from 2004 to 2023.

The student-athlete inductees are Annette Carney Propp (Clear Lake, Class of 1988), Brian Drew Williams (Clear Lake, Class of 1990), Meredith Phillips Thompson (Clear Creek, Class of 1996), Deryell Patterson (Clear Brook, Class of 1999), Lauren Viel (Clear Lake, Class of 2007), Brooke McCarty-Williams (Clear Springs, Class of 2014) and Landon Etzel (Clear Creek, Class of 2016).

Three teams will also be honored as part of the 2026 class: the 1964 Clear Creek High School girls basketball team, which finished as UIL 2A state runner-up; the 1988 Clear Lake High School girls cross country team, which won the UIL 5A state championship; and the 2007 Clear Lake High School girls golf team, which also captured a UIL 5A state title.

According to the Athletic Hall of Honor, eligible inductees graduated from district high schools between 1948 and 2017 and have made significant contributions to athletics through their achievements as athletes, coaches or teams.
